My Little Secret

You never know who I might be,
Nor would know what I can see,
But one thing’s for sure, that’s that I exist,
Not like a specter that travels through mist.

I am living here just as you are,
But my existence is easier to mar.
Choose your words carefully so you know who you’ll hurt.
After all to people you shouldn’t be curt.

So I have a secret I may wish to tell,
And reading this may ring a bell.
There are things out there that are not what they seem,
And within that population are ones of nightmare and dream.

I am included in these secret ones
And without them, honestly, I would be none.
My friends out there don’t seem they can be,
Related to a place of some great fantasy.

So hear me this for you now know,
Of my little secret, but alas I must go,
Trash must be taken out, there is grass to mow,
But remember from me that awakening causes us to grow.

Your friends or even your family,
Can be of the kin, though you might not see
They hide their true form from view,
And looking for it is up to you.

So take my last words and search in yourself,
For the unseen inside being like a book on a shelf,
And let it fill you with knowledge and manifest,
What to do with it is your choice, but use it for the best.
